I'm a freelance writer and journalist, certified news junkie, and the managing editor and co-publisher (with Isaiah Gallagher-Rees) of Last Call Comics.  I am also, among other things, a veteran restaurant manager, former banker, former salesman, former computer operator (back when that meant something), former canvasser for a grass-roots political organization, ex-ferryboat deckhand, semi-reformed bad boy, child prodigy, late bloomer, and sometime musician.  I'm driven, lazy, capitalist, artistic, strong, vulnerable, bitter, forgiving, athletic, clumsy, sober, intoxicated, thoroughly optimistic, and sure we are doomed.  I can't think of anything more worthwhile than Life.  My yoga practice began in 1994 in a somewhat accidental fashion–as so many good and wonderful things begin–and over time I have come to incorporate it wholly into a lifestyle that is now devoted to further enlightenment, physical and spiritual health, business and financial success, service to humanity, and the pursuit of beauty in art, music, and literature.  With a little fun thrown in along the way, of course.  My own personal Path has been both entertaining and rather unusual, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share the further twists and turns with you.
